Dry Herbal Vaping.

Whether it's Cannabis, Hemp, Herbal mixes, Flowers or whichever you choose to vape, it's entirely up to you.

Here's are some tips & advice to keep you in the know!.

Dry herb vaping is essentially using a small heated chamber or convection heated chambers to cause vaporisation of organic materials, using a controlled temperature.

A dry herb vaporiser is a great investment in your health if you smoke frequently or with large amounts.

These devices can give you just as strong effects as smoking, without the particles & Scent of burning.

This is due to the lower amount of ash & other potentially carcinogenic compounds found within burned matter, more so with tobacco mixes.

(please don't use tobacco in dry herb chambers without manufacturers approval due to tar contents)

Focusing on Cannabinoid based plants for vaping, these often require heat of over 158c to activate forms of the compounds to create the key effects used to medicate. (THC in this instance, CBD 165c)

Many of the compounds like CBD, CBDa, CBG, CBT, CBN often relieves your pain, with assistance from Terpenes of course.

These can often take the edge off your Low mood, Anxiety, inflammation, insomnia, stress, by interacting with your ECS

( Endo-cannabinoid system ).

This is key to unlocking the hidden benefits within your herb, as cannabinoids & terpenes which work in synergy for the Entourage effect.

Certain terpenes vaporize at low temps & others at higher ends, which give depth of flavour to your herb, especially hemp flowers.

Like full strength cannabis, hemp flowers can give a complex array of terpenes to each flower, from lavender flavourings due to Linalool, Sweet herby Ocimene.

Being such complex plants, cannabis works with a mass of compounds.

When smoked (Combusted), the contents of the terpenes are heated over approximately 330c before the inhaling, which amplifies the heat more to the point of burning off the potential benefits of other compounds in smoking.

Dry herb vaporizing raises the temperature through the ground herb to unlock, vaporize & provide almost particle free hit.

This includes the terpenes which will give a full complex thin smoke which gives you all the flavour & benefits of your herb.

A guide to temperatures is often difficult to find & many manufacturers will give a rough number, but it is entirely how strong you want your vapour & effects.

With my preference of most flowers a rough 175-178c is ideal for a flavourful, yet effective hit.

To get the most out of your flower, without wanting to use the remaining vaped flowers in infusions, 200-215c will give the thicker heavy hitting doses from your vapes.

(steeping used vapes low in brown colour can create really nice infused oils for topicals with leftover CBN amounts)

Finding your right temp is down to experimentation, so grab a little of something you fancy.

Pen & paper and just play with your device till you find the right temps which suit you.

Remember to grind your herbs evenly each time as this will affect the outcome.

Enjoy & have fun with your dry herb vape.
